Presidents Message

Tom Linley

Welcome the FPSAA web site! Thank you for the honor of serving as your President of FPSAA. My roots in the Florida Park Service run deep starting at Lloyd Beach as a Park Ranger and ending at Homosassa Springs as a Park Manager. I have several passions and they include Florida State Parks, volunteering and fellowship; all three of these are hallmarks of the FPSAA.

The FPSAA seeks to foster a continued close personal relationship among past and current Florida Park Service employees; engage in activities and programs which directly or indirectly benefit the Florida Park Service; support and further the interests of Florida 's state parks; make available the considerable expertise of its membership in an advisory capacity, as requested; provide members with up-to-date information regarding events which may affect them or the Florida Park Service; and further the good of the Florida Park Service wherever possible and perpetuate the spirit of unity, service and mutual benefit among its membership.

These are lofty objectives and we need your help to grow and strengthen our organization. Please join us in finding creative and beneficial ways to perpetuate our fellowship and spirit of unity and service. We have work days and other support activities throughout the year and we need your help. If you have ideas on how FPSAA can better serve its members and Florida’s state parks please let me know.

In Service,

Tom Linley
